Massive traffic jam on National Highway near Naushahro Feroze stalls vehicles for hours

A long‑lasting congestion has developed on the National Highway between Kandiaro and Naushahro Feroze, persisting for about ten hours. The gridlock has trapped a mix of heavy‑goods trucks, passenger buses, private cars and even ambulances carrying patients. The stretch of road that leads to Karachi is clogged along roughly 30 kilometres, while the lane heading toward Punjab is backed up for about 10 kilometres.

Motorway police were not present at the scene to manage the situation, and the blockage worsened when trailers on the under‑construction segment of the highway faced each other, effectively sealing the road. The construction work, which has been underway for the past two years, has repeatedly been cited as a source of accidents and regular traffic snarls in the area.
