Eleven‑year‑old flying‑car startup teases Tesla Roadster

California’s Alef Aeronautics, a company that has been developing a flying car for more than a decade, posted a tongue‑in‑cheek video that shows its prototype gliding over a Tesla Roadster. The clip ends with a message inviting Elon Musk’s automotive empire to join the “flying car race”.

Jim Dukhovny, Alef’s chief executive, said the firm has been the sole contender in the aerial‑vehicle arena for the past 11 years. The video was shared on social media on 17 October 2026.
