Deadline Today for Second Hajj Installment Payments, Says Religious Affairs Ministry

ISLAMABAD – The government’s Hajj scheme has set today as the last day for pilgrims to pay the second installment, ARY News reported. So far, 97,000 hopeful travelers have made their payments, bringing the amount collected through the digital Hajj portal to roughly Rs 61 billion for this installment. Of the online transactions, 45,245 were processed through 1Link and 3,685 were made with debit or credit cards, while 47,563 applicants submitted manual bank challans.

A spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs urged anyone who has not yet paid to do so before the deadline, stressing that failure to meet the cut‑off could result in the cancellation of their applications. The ministry said payments can be made online via the National IT Board’s Hajj portal or through the Pak Hajj app.

The spokesperson also reminded pilgrims that a medical fitness certificate is required. The form is available on the Hajj portal; it must be signed by an authorized doctor and uploaded back to the system. Pilgrims were encouraged to keep the Pak Hajj app installed for regular updates and further instructions.
