Five killed in Multan after high‑speed car strikes divider

MULTAN – Five people lost their lives on Monday when a car traveling at high speed collided with a road divider on Bosan Road in the historic city of Multan, authorities said. The impact caused the vehicle’s engine to catch fire. Firefighters managed to put out the blaze, recovered the bodies and transferred them to Nishtar Hospital.

Three of the victims have been identified: Muzammil, 23, Yasir, 22, and Ramazan, 28. The other two, also in their twenties, are believed to be 25 and 24 years old, but their names have not yet been confirmed. All five were residents of Shuja Abad tehsil in Multan district.

Hospital officials indicated that the bodies will be released to the families after post‑mortem examinations and the completion of required legal procedures.
